Visual Acceptance Standards

Defining the boundaries of aesthetic and structural quality through rigorous visual protocols and standardized inspection environments.

Close-up inspection of high-precision manufactured part under professional lighting

Primary Surface Standards

Layer Consistency

Evaluation of step-wise uniformity across vertical surfaces. Deviations exceeding 0.1mm are marked for secondary review.

Color Fidelity

Comparison against RAL standards under D65 lighting. Chromatic variance must remain within Delta E < 2.0.

Edge Definition

Sharpness of transitional radii. Over-rounding or fillet warping constitutes a visual failure in structural components.

Texture Integrity

Absence of pitting, bubbling, or extraneous material deposition on primary functional surfaces.

Visual Threshold Selector

Toggle between different acceptance states to understand our rigorous quality benchmarks.

Nominal Quality

  • No visible layer steps to the naked eye at 30cm distance.
  • Uniform matte or gloss finish as per design specification.
  • Total absence of post-processing artifacts.
A+

Marginal Acceptability

Parts falling into this category require functional stability validation before final approval.

  • Minor discoloration in non-visible interior zones.
  • Slight surface roughness (Ra < 6.3μm) on non-mating faces.
B-

Rejection Criteria

  • Visible cracks or structural delamination of any size.
  • Warpage exceeding geometric tolerances (+/- 0.5mm).
  • Severe scarring from support removal.
F

Inspection Environment

Reliable visual assessment requires standardized environmental control. Our laboratories adhere to the following viewing parameters:

Luminance 1000 - 1500 Lux
Distance 300 - 500 mm
Background Neutral Grey (N7)
Duration 15s per Surface

Master Quality Control

Our visual criteria are designed to ensure every component leaving the line meets the highest architectural and mechanical standards of the industry.
